Tomorrow, Al-Ittihad's delegation departs Jeddah for Abha

German coach Jens Wissing will dedicate Wednesday's training session in Jeddah to recovery and regaining physical fitness after a busy schedule of matches recently.

The latest training session included a review of technical aspects and final touches to the strategy for the match against Abha, as part of the preparations for the upcoming league clash.

Vissing is set to announce his final choices for the eight foreign players who will participate in the match squad during the training session, based on his technical vision and the team's needs.

The coach granted his players a break from training on Tuesday after the squad returned to Jeddah following their 2-1 victory over Neftchi in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al-Ittihad sit fourth in the Saudi Pro League table with 23 points, four points behind leaders Al-Hilal, ahead of their match against Abha as they aim to continue competing for the top spots.

The federation has set the date for its trip to Abha on Thursday, in preparation for the match against the southern team in the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League. The team will hold its final training session upon arrival, according to the technical program.
