Thomas Frank: We showed a strong character despite the defeat against Paris Saint-Germain
Thursday 27-11-2025
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank confirmed that his team showed a strong comeback after their previous defeat against Arsenal, despite losing 5-3 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Frank said, "I am very happy with the performance. I liked the strong start after the previous match. The performance was closer to the team's identity, with aggression, courage, and running. I liked everything a lot."

He added: "The attackers scored three goals, among them Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall performed excellently, but you can't concede two goals like that if you want to win here. We have to acknowledge that Vitinha is the best midfielder in the world; he will win the next Ballon d'Or."

Frank continued: "They were two completely different matches. Today, we saw more of what I want. We competed, and we saw a team with spirit and character."

Frank's statements highlighted Tottenham's ability to maintain its identity and ambition in European competitions despite the loss to a strong team like Paris Saint-Germain.
