Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed his team's readiness to face Tottenham Hotspur next Wednesday in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Enrique said: "Tottenham started the season brilliantly and are still unbeaten in the Champions League. Most of their players are internationals, and they are a strong team."

He added: "The Super Cup was the first match of the season, and Wednesday's match will be different. Our goal in every game is the same: to be in control and secure the win."

He continued: "The match will be tough, but we will play in front of our fans and hope to deliver a great game for them."

Enrique explained that preparing for this match is easier than before, adding: "We don't need to talk much because you feel that this is a different match and a different competition for us. It's our tournament, we are the defending champions, and we want to continue on the same path."

Regarding team captain Marquinhos, Enrique said: "If Marquinhos is ready, he will play his 500th match on Wednesday. This is an amazing milestone and very important for him and for all the players."

He added, "It's wonderful to see a player with such an amazing career; he is a unique player and a true leader. I hope he stays with us for many years to come."

Luis Enrique pointed to the role of the club's academy players and said, "It's great to know that there are very young players who can help the team. This is important for us as well as for the players who know that this opportunity is available."

He continued: "There are many academy players within the team, and there are still others who can support the team."

The coach concluded his statements by emphasizing the importance of facing Tottenham, saying: "We are more prepared to be a dominant team and secure the victory. We hope to continue our strong performances and deliver an effort that meets the expectations of Paris Saint-Germain's fans."
