Zizo: We Have Started to Adapt to Yassir Turup's Style
Ahmad Sayed Zizo, the star player of Al Ahly, spoke about his team's great victory over JS Kabylie this evening, Saturday, in the CAF Champions League.
Al Ahly achieved a resounding 4-1 victory over JS Kabylie in a match held this evening, Saturday, as part of the first round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Zizo said in statements on beIN Sports: "Thank God for the win, a very good result in our first match of the group stage. We are starting to adapt as players to Yassir Turup's style."
He added: "The match against JS Kabylie could have ended with a bigger score if we had taken advantage of the opportunities that came our way, but the most important thing is the win, and thank God for that."
He continued: "I felt some pain due to the injury I sustained with the national team, but I played well for 75 minutes. I will talk to the doctor and we will see what happens. God willing, I will be ready for the next match."
He concluded: "All the matches are tough, and our group is the strongest. The upcoming match against Al-Jaish Al-Malaki is definitely very difficult, but we take each game step by step, and God willing, we will come back with a win."
