Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca appeared in a press statement after the 2-0 victory over Burnley in the twelfth round of the English Premier League.

The coach said in his statement, "I am very happy; we needed this kind of victory. After the international break, playing at 12:30 away against Burnley makes things complicated. So, I am extremely pleased with the result and the performance."

He added: "They defended very well and didn't give us much space to attack. It was a complicated match. I think leaving here without conceding a goal is very difficult. For me, they had only one big chance in the second half. Overall, we created more chances and deserved to win."

He emphasized: "I am very happy about the goal. The pass from Jimmy Gaitán was excellent, and Pedro Neto scored. I am happy for both of them."

Regarding André Santos' performance, he said: "André's primary position is number 6. With us, he plays in other positions that are not the best for him. However, he is a good player and works hard, and we are happy with him."

And he concluded about replacing Reece James at halftime: "Yes, it was planned that he would play only 45 minutes."
