Real Madrid's coach, Xabi Alonso, appeared at a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against Elche in the 13th round of the Spanish league, to be held at the Manuel Martínez Valero Stadium.

The coach said about the team's condition: "All the international players arrived in good physical shape, motivated, full of energy, and in a great atmosphere. Elche is playing at a high level, and it will be a tough match because they compete well and play good football. Rüdiger is not ready yet, but his return will be important due to his personality and performance."

He added: "There are different phases of the season, but we are eager to look ahead and face very important matches in La Liga and the Champions League. Our energy is good, and we need all the players. We have to manage the workload well so that everyone feels ready to play. We have to cope with injuries; they significantly affect the distribution of playing time."

Regarding playing four consecutive away matches: "We have to deal with it and prepare for it in the same way. We are entering a difficult phase of our schedule. We cannot change it, and we are aware of the conditions of playing many consecutive away games. The atmosphere is hostile, and our home fans cheer for their team... The match and the preparation are similar."

He continued regarding the responsibility of coaching Real Madrid: "We know the demands of Real Madrid and what can happen. We handle it naturally and with the high standards we have set for ourselves. We shouldn't give it more weight than necessary."

Regarding Arnold's readiness: "This break allowed us to restore his physical fitness, and Fede Valverde is still working on that. We have more options at right-back; Militão has played as a full-back with Brazil, even Asensio..."

He added about Courtois: "His recent seasons have produced unforgettable saves at extremely crucial moments... It's not just about his quality, but also about his way of communicating. He is a fundamental pillar and wants to take on responsibility."

He continued: "All our away matches require great effort, that's how it is. I worked with them for two and a half hours, explaining who we are, what we want, and what we must do. Then it was time to show it."

He concluded: "Which is more important, the tactical aspect or team management? Both are important. Considering the environment we are in, we need to be mentally strong and balanced so that we don't experience emotional fluctuations after every match; we must maintain some optimism and moderation."
