Officials of Saudi club Al Hilal are awaiting the final stance of Portuguese Ruben Neves, the team's midfielder, regarding the official offer presented by the management to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the current sports season.

According to the program "Action with Walid," Al Hilal's management offered Neves a contract renewal worth 24 million euros annually, while the player's agent requested an extension of the contract duration, similar to the contract of Serbian Sergej Milinković-Savić, who renewed until 2028.

The program stated that Neves' agent requested a two-week period to respond to the offer, but the player arrived in Riyadh yesterday without providing any official response to Al Hilal's management.

The report indicates that Neves, 28 years old, now feels that the time is right to return to Europe amid interest from some European clubs, which leaves his decision to renew with Al Hilal pending for the moment.

On the other hand, Al Hilal's management has not yet started searching for a potential replacement in the transfer market, preferring to wait for the player's final decision before taking any further steps.
