Spanish club Real Madrid announced in an official statement today, Wednesday, the nature of the injury sustained by Brazilian star Éder Militão during yesterday's friendly match against Tunisia.
The Royal Club stated: "After the examinations conducted today on our player Éder Militão by Real Madrid's medical services, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury in the adductor magnus of his right leg."
According to several press reports, the Brazilian star will be absent from Real Madrid for a period of two to three weeks.
Militao will miss the matches against Elche, Olympiacos, Girona, and Celta Vigo, but he may return for the game against Manchester City in the final group stage round of the UEFA Champions League on December 10.
