Belgium National Team Secures World Cup Qualification with a Big Win over Liechtenstein

The Belgium national team achieved a crushing 7-0 victory over Liechtenstein in the tenth round of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, officially securing their qualification for the tournament.

Hans Vanaken opened the scoring early in the 3rd minute, before Jeremy Doku added the second and third goals in the 34th and 41st minutes.

In the second half, the Belgian team continued their dominance, with Brandon Mechele scoring the fourth goal in the 52nd minute, followed by Alexis Saelemaekers netting the fifth in the 55th minute.

The sixth goal came from Charles De Ketelaere in the 57th minute, before Maxime De Cuyper concluded the goal fest by scoring the seventh in the 59th minute.

With this victory, Belgium raised their tally to 18 points at the top of the group, securing their place in the 2026 World Cup, while Liechtenstein remains in fifth place with zero points.
