A Saudi news report revealed today the satisfaction of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, head coach of Al Hilal club, with the performances of French goalkeeper Mathieu Pautylet in recent times, amid preparations for the absence of the main goalkeeper Yassine Bono.

According to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper, Inzaghi expressed his happiness with the outstanding performance shown by Batouilet after his participation with the under-21 team in the match against Al-Bukiryah last Sunday, as part of the Joy Elite League. This participation aimed to help the player regain match sharpness following his recent absence due to injury.

The newspaper explained that Al-Hilal's technical staff is working to fully prepare Batouilet to take on the role of goalkeeper during Yassine Bono's absence, who is expected to participate with the Moroccan national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, which begins at the end of next month and continues until mid-January.

Al Hilal had signed Mathieu Batouillet during the last summer transfer window on a contract lasting two seasons, registering him as an underage player after his transfer from the French club Lyon.
