Alonso Faces a Crisis of Confidence in Real Madrid's Dressing Room
Wednesday 10-12-2025
Investigative journalist Roman Molina revealed in intriguing statements that some Real Madrid players have lost confidence in Xabi Alonso, pointing out that there is a hidden tension in the locker room between the coach and several players who held a special status before his arrival.

Molina said, "It cannot be said that Alonso has lost control of the group, but we can confirm that there is a kind of distrust from some players, especially those who had more freedom in the past."

The journalist explained that the reasons for the current problems stem from last season, where the team experienced a state of "excessive comfort," as he described it. He added, "Real Madrid last season was more like a club of friends; there was no discipline or serious commitment in training, and almost every player did what they wanted."

He pointed out that some players continued these habits even after Alonso arrived: "After the match against Real Mallorca, some players decided to travel directly to Ibiza on their private jets instead of returning with the team to Madrid."

He continued: "Alonso tried to put an end to these behaviors and impose discipline, but some players did not accept that and started saying that he wanted to interfere in their days off and private lives."

Moulian concluded his remarks by saying: "We must pay attention to the environment of these players, because the problem is not just with them, but with the people around them who feed their egos and convince them that they are always the best, which increases tension within the team."
