Officially: Real Madrid Announces Details of Courtois's Injury
Monday 10-11-2025
The official website of Real Madrid announced that Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has suffered an injury to the long adductor muscle in his right leg, following medical examinations conducted today under the supervision of the team's medical staff. The club clarified that the duration of the player's recovery will be assessed in the coming period.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Courtois is expected to be out for a period of 10 to 12 days, which means he will not be able to participate in Madrid's upcoming matches until he fully recovers.

He will not join the Belgian national team during the current international break, as both the player and the club's medical staff preferred to continue his recovery program in Madrid to avoid any unnecessary risks that could affect his return.

The injury comes at a time when Real Madrid is trying to maintain its defensive stability, especially with the pressure of matches on both domestic and European levels, making Courtois's absence a temporary but significant loss for the royal team.

The coaching staff, led by Xabi Alonso, hopes to quickly regain the services of the Belgian goalkeeper, especially given the importance of the upcoming matches in La Liga and the Champions League.
