Aouar: Red Cards for Al-Ittihad are Unjust
Algerian midfielder Hossam Aouar of Al-Ittihad Club in Saudi Arabia criticized the frequent red cards received by his teammates this season.
Aouar appeared at the press conference ahead of the match against Sharjah from the UAE in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League.
He stated at the beginning of his talk: "The match is important for us, especially since it is on our home ground and in front of our fans, and we are well prepared for it."
Regarding the numerous red cards received by Al-Ittihad this season, Aouar said: "These cards affect the team during matches and complicate our situation, and some of them were unjustified."
