The medical staff of the police team confirmed that the team's star, Bassem Shakir, will not be able to participate in the match against the Iranian Tractor scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, as part of the fourth round of the AFC Champions League.

Shakir suffered a muscle injury during his team's last match against Al-Karma in the Iraqi Stars League in the sixth round, where he scored the only goal of the match before leaving the field in the 25th minute.

The team doctor explained that the injury requires a period of rest and physiotherapy before gradually returning to training and official matches, making his participation impossible for tomorrow's match.

Bassem Shakir is considered one of the key players in the team's lineup, as he performs at a high level and contributes to achieving positive results for the police.
