Thursday 30-10-2025
Spanish coach Emmanuel Alguacil stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Al-Hilal in the seventh round of the Roshan Saudi League, emphasizing his great respect for the opponent and his desire to present a strong performance to achieve a positive result.

Alguacil stated during the press conference that his team is facing an opponent with an exceptional coach whom he has previously faced while leading Lazio, pointing out that the match will be significant between the two teams and that Al-Shabab will do their utmost to achieve a good result.

The coach denied any tactical surprises against Al-Hilal, explaining that the absences have affected the team's attacking aspect, especially with the absence of Abdulrazak Hamdallah and the unavailability of several front-line players in the recent period.

Alguacil confirmed that the team came out of a strong and exhausting match in the King's Cup, and no injured players have returned, with both Hamdallah and Yassine Adli set to miss the match against Al-Hilal due to injury.

The coach discussed his plan to deal with Al-Hilal, emphasizing that he will not focus on any single player as the blue team comprises a complete set of high-quality elements, requiring a collective performance from Al-Shabab players.

Alguacil defended his team's performance in recent times, explaining that Al-Shabab is in a building phase for the future, and that three youth players participated in previous matches due to injuries and the pressure of competitions.

The youth coach concluded his statements by asking the fans for patience, confirming that the team consists of a young group lacking experience, and they cannot be expected to perform like players such as Carrasco or Hamdallah, stressing that work continues to develop their level and to rely on the current squad in the best possible way.
