Pyramids Secures Qualification to the Round of 16 in the African Champions League
Pyramids achieved a victory over their Ethiopian counterpart, Insurance, with a score of 2-0 in the return match of the Round of 32 of the African Champions League, which took place this evening, Thursday, at the Air Defense Stadium.
Mustafa Ziko scored Pyramids' first goal in the 11th minute with a wonderful header, and in the 90+2 minute, Mouni, a player from Ethiopian Insurance, scored an own goal, bringing the score to 2-0 for the blue team.
The first leg match, which was held at the Air Defense Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw.
With this result, Pyramids successfully qualifies for the Round of 16 of the African Champions League.
