American star Christian Pulisic is nearing a return to participate with AC Milan before the international break in November, but the club's management is trying to avoid his call-up to the United States national team during that period, according to the website "Football Italia".

The site explained that Milan's CEO, Giorgio Furlani, has started talks with the U.S. Soccer Federation, hoping to allow the American star to stay at the team's training center during the break to continue his recovery from the muscle injury he sustained in a friendly match against Australia earlier in October.

The report indicated that Pulisic, who has missed Milan's recent matches, will not participate against Atalanta tomorrow, and his chances of being fit for the match against Roma next week are slim, while the club hopes for his return for the match against Parma on November 8, just before the international break.

The same source confirmed that Milan fears for their player’s fatigue or a recurrence of the injury if he is called up to the U.S. national team, which is preparing for friendly matches against Paraguay and Uruguay next month, before Milan faces Inter in the city derby on November 23 after the international break.
