According to what was reported by "Football Italy", the medical examinations that Mkhitaryan underwent revealed a strain in the left thigh muscle, with no tears present, which means that the injury is not as serious as initially thought.
Inter clarified in its official statement that the player's condition will be reassessed next week, confirming his absence from the upcoming matches against Fiorentina and Hellas Verona.
The report added that there is a possibility for Mkhitaryan to return for the match against Lazio on November 9, but the closest date for his full return will be in the Milan Derby against AC Milan on November 23 after the international break.
