Injury of Al Ahly Midfielder Before the Egyptian Super Cup
Sources revealed today, Monday, that the Al Ahly team, led by Danish coach Jess Torup, is on the verge of losing another player due to injury before participating in the Egyptian Super Cup in Abu Dhabi.
Egyptian reports mentioned that Ahmed Reda, Al Ahly's midfielder, is currently suffering from a knee injury.
According to the reports, Ahmed Reda underwent scans that confirmed he is suffering from a cartilage injury, and the player refused to undergo surgery, opting instead for strengthening exercises on his knee.
Thus, Ahmed Reda joins the Al Ahly hospital alongside the trio of injured players, Hussein El Shahat, Mohamed Sherif, and Imam Ashour, just days before the anticipated participation in the Egyptian Super Cup.
For its part, the medical staff at Al Ahly is working to prepare the injured quartet to regain their services for the team's upcoming commitments.
