Former Al Ahly Star: The Red Team Delayed in Securing the Result Against Eagle Noir
Sharif Abdel-Moneim, the former star of Al Ahly team, confirmed that the red team delayed in securing the result of the match against the Burundian team Eagle Noir in the African Champions League that took place on Saturday evening.
Al Ahly won against Eagle Noir with a score of 1-0 in the second leg of the Round of 32 of the African Champions League, qualifying the red team for the Round of 16, where the first leg had ended with the same result (1-0).
Sharif Abdel-Moneim stated on the "Al-Bremo" program on "Ten" channel: "The defense of Al Ahly team has been fluctuating recently, and in my opinion, the red team needs a defender with the specifications of Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, a player from French team Nice, to be a strong addition alongside Yasser Ibrahim and the rest of his teammates."
He added: "Omar Kamal, a player for Al Ahly team, has good potential, but he needs to build confidence in himself in the upcoming matches with the red team to shine significantly."
