Journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Max Eberl, the sports director of Bayern Munich, held a meeting with Gordon Stepić, the agent of defender Marc Guéhi, a player for Crystal Palace and the English national team.

According to the source, the Bavarian club aims through this meeting to show its serious interest in acquiring the player, but it is well aware that Real Madrid and Liverpool are also in the race to sign the English star.

The report added that if Dayot Upamecano refuses to extend his contract with the Bavarian club, Guéhi is considered one of Eberl's preferred targets, alongside defender Nico Schlotterbeck, the star of Borussia Dortmund.

It is worth noting that Guéhi's contract with Crystal Palace ends at the end of the current season, and he will not renew his contract.
