Union President Dispels Rumors About Ramon Planes' Future
Thursday 23-10-2025
Fahd Sandi, the president of the Saudi Union Club, confirmed that the rumors circulating about the departure of sporting director Ramon Planes from his position are unfounded, indicating that the club is experiencing a state of administrative and technical stability.

Sandi's response came after an inquiry from a fan of the club via the 'X' platform, who expressed concern about the discussions circulating regarding the interest of three local clubs in signing Planes should he leave the Union in the upcoming period.

The Union President confidently replied:

> "Welcome, my dear brother, there is no need for any concern, God willing, and what has been circulated is merely hypothetical, like saying: (If it doesn't rain tomorrow, the weather may be clear)."

Since taking over the presidency of the club, Sandi has been keen on maintaining continuous communication with Union fans through social media, clarifying various details related to the first team's situation and the workflow within the administrative system.

In another context, the Union team continues its intensive preparations for the upcoming match against Al-Hilal, in the peak of the sixth round of the Saudi Pro League, scheduled for Friday evening at the Al-Enhancement Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

The club enters the match with 10 points, sitting in fifth place, just one point behind Al-Hilal, who is in fourth place, as the Jeddah team seeks to achieve victory and regain its balance in the competition for the league's top position.
