Sami Al-Jaber: Tactical War Looms Between Jesus and Inzaghi
The legend of Al-Hilal Club, Sami Al-Jaber, spoke about the fierce competition that will characterize the Saudi Roshan League this season, anticipating a tactical battle between the top coaches in the tournament, led by Jorge Jesus and Simone Inzaghi.
Al-Jaber explained during his appearance on the program "Nadina" that the rivalry between the coaches of Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal will be different this season, noting that each coach has a unique tactical philosophy that will ignite competition in the upcoming rounds.
Al-Jaber said: "The Portuguese Jesus is an extremely distinguished coach, and when I first met him to convince him to coach Al-Hilal, we talked for about 20 minutes before he showed interest in the project I presented to him; he is a highly organized and practical personality."
The former Al-Hilal star added: "Jesus has reached an age where he is qualified to coach national teams, but he preferred to continue working with clubs, and he also rejected an offer to coach the Saudi national team in order to complete his project with Al-Hilal."
Al-Jaber continued: "I expect to witness a real tactical war this season between Jesus and Inzaghi, especially in the big matches, while I temporarily exclude Sergio Conceição from this equation as he is still at the beginning of his experience with Al-Ittihad."
Al-Nasr leads the Saudi Roshan League standings with 15 points after achieving a perfect score in five rounds, while Al-Hilal occupies the fourth position with 11 points, with the battle for the top remaining heated between the two sides.
