Al-Hilal Monitors Murad Hossawi for Potential Signing

The Saudi Al-Hilal Club has shown serious interest in signing midfielder Murad Hossawi, the star of Al-Khaleej, in preparation for entering official negotiations during the upcoming winter transfer window to strengthen the team's ranks with promising local talents.

Sources confirmed to "Asharq Al-Awsat" that Al-Hilal's management has been closely monitoring Hossawi's performance since the beginning of the season, following his impressive levels with Al-Khaleej, making him one of the standout young names in the Roshen Saudi League.

The player is under contract with Al-Khaleej until 2029; however, the club's management has expressed openness to considering offers, provided they are financially rewarding and meet the team's technical and economic aspirations.

The same sources indicated that negotiations have not yet reached a conclusive stage, as they are still in the exploratory phase between both sides, with a clear desire from Al-Hilal to finalize the deal early in preparation for the second half of the season.

Al-Hilal's interest in Hossawi is part of the club's plan to refresh the team with young local elements, amid the coaching staff's desire, led by Simone Inzaghi, to find a balance between experience and ambition within the squad.

It is noteworthy that Murad Hossawi participated in 31 matches during the 2025 season, playing 15 as a substitute and scoring one goal, while he has appeared as a starter in 5 matches this season, successfully providing an assist for his team, Al-Khaleej.
