Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, spoke about his team's preparations for the upcoming match against Belgian Club Brugge, scheduled as part of the third round of the main stage of the UEFA Champions League, set to take place at the Allianz Arena, the Bavarian team's home ground.

In the press conference the day before the match, Kompany made several statements, saying: "On a personal level, everything is going well here in Munich, it’s not hard to feel comfortable here with the kids, and this has helped me a lot, but also my work environment is very healthy, and I wanted to maintain this calmness."

The coach also touched on the renewal of his contract with Bayern Munich, saying: "I didn’t think much about the timing of the renewal, I was very busy preparing for the matches, then the question was raised, and my only request was that it shouldn’t turn into a big issue, and that we could quickly refocus on the next match."

Regarding the match against Club Brugge, Kompany confirmed: "Club Brugge is a team that works hard, and this is a very Belgian characteristic, they have always managed to achieve good results in Europe, they are not an easy opponent, they are very dangerous, so good preparations are very important."

He added about the absence of some players: "Staniszewski and Gnabry will not be available, Brugge is always a dangerous team, but we show respect to every opponent, and our preparations are always taken seriously, then comes the question of whether the players are in the right condition? Do they have confidence? It’s about winning and mentality."

Kompany concluded his remarks by emphasizing his team's approach in matches: "What remains constant for us is that we continue to press and fight until the last minute."
