French star Ousmane Dembélé, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, has returned to his team's squad in preparation for the match against German side Bayer Leverkusen in the third round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday evening.

The Parisian club's squad saw the return of Dembélé, the winner of the Ballon d'Or for 2025, after being absent for 42 days due to an injury sustained while playing with the French national team in a match against Ukraine on September 5, during the international break.

Dembélé had suffered an injury to his right thigh, which kept him from participating with Paris Saint-Germain since winning the Ballon d'Or for Best Player in the World 2025, before fully recovering and returning to bolster his team's ranks in the continental tournament.
