Concerns Over Omar Al-Soma's Goal Scoring with Al-Hazm
Sunday 19-10-2025
The Syrian striker Omar Al-Soma is facing a tough time with his team Al-Hazm after five rounds of the Roshan Saudi League without being able to score any goals, despite being a regular starter in most matches.

This scoring decline is unusual for Al-Soma, who has been one of the most prominent strikers in Saudi football during his previous stellar years with Al-Ahli, before moving to Al-Hazm at the beginning of the current season.

Despite his continuous attempts inside the penalty area, the player has failed to convert opportunities into goals, raising concerns among Al-Hazm fans who were counting on him to lead the attack and improve the team's results.

Al-Soma has scored only two goals since joining Al-Hazm, both of which came in a match against Neom in the King’s Cup, without being able to find the net in any league match so far.

Observers believe that psychological factors may have played a role in the decline of the Syrian striker's performance, especially with his need to fully integrate with his new teammates and adapt to the team's style.
