The Portuguese manager Sergio Conceicao of Al-Ittihad Club is awaiting the status of Algerian international Houssem Aouar, the team's striker, regarding his participation in the upcoming match against the Iraqi police.

According to reports, Aouar will undergo field tests today, Saturday, to determine his ability to participate or not against the police, in the match that will take place as part of the third round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

It is worth noting that Aouar, along with Albanian Mario Mitaj and Serbian Carlo Simic, were excluded from the squad for the match against Al-Faiha, which ended in a 1-1 draw yesterday, Friday, due to unfitness.

The Al-Ittihad delegation will depart tomorrow morning, Sunday, via a private plane from Jeddah to Baghdad, where the team will conduct one training session at the match stadium upon their arrival.
