The Moroccan international Azeddine Ounahi was awarded the Best Player of Girona FC for the month of September, in recognition of his outstanding performance during recent matches with his club.

Ounahi received the award today, Thursday, at the club's headquarters, after a fan vote that gave him the edge over his teammates, marking his first individual award with Girona since joining the team at the beginning of the current season.

This award comes at a significant time for the Moroccan star, just before the anticipated Catalonia derby against Barcelona, where Girona hopes to continue its strong performances in the Spanish league.

It is worth mentioning that Ounahi missed the last Moroccan national team camp due to injury, but he is expected to return to the pitch soon after fully recovering and regaining his fitness.
