Football Italia reported that AC Milan's Swiss midfielder Ardon Gashari is close to returning to the pitch after a two-month absence due to a fibula fracture.

Gashari, one of Milan's most prominent summer signings, suffered the injury during a team training session in late August after colliding with teammate Santiago Giménez, following his appearances in two matches as a substitute against Bari and Cremonese at the start of the season.

According to the source, the player is making steady progress in his recovery phase and is expected to return to group training by the end of October, with the possibility of participating in the team's match against Roma on November 2.

If he is not fully ready, the club may delay his return to the match against Parma on November 8, or until after the international break when Milan faces their rivals Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on the 23rd of the same month.

The medical staff at Milan is handling the player's condition with caution to ensure he returns in the best possible shape, while Gashari is expected to face strong competition for his position in midfield, which includes notable names like Luka Modrić, Youssef Fofana, and Adrien Rabiot.
