Sky Sports reported that English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has agreed to renew his contract with Everton for a new long-term deal that extends for an additional four years.

According to the same source, Pickford is expected to officially sign the contract before the team's next match against Manchester City this week.

Pickford's current contract runs until 2027, during which he will complete ten years with the club; however, the new contract will extend his stay beyond this date and may allow him to continue his career with Everton even after turning thirty-six.

Pickford is entering his ninth season with Everton, where he has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for the England national team despite his team's struggles in recent seasons.

Sky Sports indicated that Everton's management believes the player is happy, settled, and ready to stay with the club for a long time, given the positive atmosphere the team is currently experiencing thanks to improvements under manager David Moyes and recent summer signings, including the acquisition of Jack Grealish.
