Güler Leads Turkey to Victory Over Bulgaria in World Cup Qualifiers

The Turkish national team achieved an exciting victory over the Bulgarian national team with a score of 6-1, in the match held at Vasil Levski Stadium as part of the third round of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Star player Arda Güler opened the scoring for Turkey in the 11th minute, before Radoslav Kirilov equalized for Bulgaria in the 13th minute.

In the second half, the Turkish team surged ahead strongly, after Viktor Popov scored an own goal in the 49th minute, and Kenan Yıldız added the third goal in the 52nd minute following a brilliant pass from Güler. Yıldız returned again in the 56th minute and scored the fourth goal.

Mohamed Zaki Selik scored the fifth goal in the 66th minute with a wonderful header after a corner kick executed perfectly by Güler, and İrfan Can Kahveci capped off the score with the sixth goal in the 90+3 minute.

With this victory, Turkey's points rose to 6, placing them second in the group standings, while Bulgaria remains at the bottom of the ranking with no points.
