Arda Turan comments on the possibility of coaching Türkiye

Arda Turan, the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, has spoken about his name being associated with the possibility of taking over as manager of Türkiye's national team, succeeding Italian Vincenzo Montella. He emphasized the importance of the matter to him while stressing his loyalty to his current club.

Turan responded to a question about the difficulty of balancing his commitment to Shakhtar, which he took over during the war in Ukraine, and his desire to represent his country: "As I stated before, sometimes words are heavier than feelings and decisions. I can say that both things I mentioned are extremely important to me."

The Turkish coach added: "At the same time, my absolute loyalty and commitment to the club will always remain steadfast."

Arda Turan concluded his statements by saying: "I am here currently, and I am ready to serve Shakhtar Donetsk as long as the club trusts me."
