Bruno Fernandes: I Haven't Closed the Door on a Move to Saudi Arabia
The Portuguese Bruno Fernandes, star of Manchester United, revealed his stance on a potential move to the Saudi league.
The player was close to transferring to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia last summer, but the deal did not materialize.
Bruno stated in remarks to the Portuguese newspaper 'Ojogo': 'I haven't closed the door on a move to Saudi Arabia; my decision not to transfer there was not related to the World Cup.'
He added: 'I never thought about this matter; I just wanted to stay with Manchester United, and the club also wanted me to stay.'
He continued: 'I don't know what will happen in a year, whether I will play there or if I will be outside of Manchester altogether.'
He concluded: 'This is not something that worries me; I am happy with my current team, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed; I am not upset.'
