Spain's national team coach Luis de la Fuente spoke about the possibility of including Ansu Fati to compensate for the injured Dani Olmo, noting that the current Monaco striker is being closely monitored by the coaching staff.
De la Fuente said: "Can Ansu Fati replace the injured Dani Olmo? He is already on our watch list, we know him well, and of course, he is in our calculations. We are very happy with his current level, he is excellent news for us."
The Spanish coach added: "So far, I cannot confirm who will be the substitute."
De la Fuente's statement comes after Fati's remarkable performance recently with the French club, which enhances his chances of returning to represent 'La Roja' in the upcoming period.
