Elneny Congratulates the National Team on Reaching the World Cup Finals
Mohamed Elneny, the star of Al Jazeera in the UAE, congratulated the players of the Egyptian national team on qualifying for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The Egyptian team defeated its Djiboutian counterpart 3-0 this Wednesday evening in the ninth and penultimate round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, officially qualifying the Pharaohs for the finals.
Elneny said via the 'X' platform: 'Congratulations to Egypt on the great achievement of reaching the World Cup, a thousand congratulations to all Egyptians.'
This marks the fourth time the national team has qualified for the World Cup finals.
