Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo was named the best player of the seventh week of the Premier League, following his outstanding performance in the match against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, which ended with his team winning 2-1.

Caicedo scored a stunning long-range goal and dominated the midfield, achieving a balance between precise passing and defensive duties, which limited Liverpool's threat throughout the match.

With this performance, Caicedo became one of Chelsea's top scorers in the league this season with three goals, which is more than his total in the past two seasons combined. He also leads the statistics in defensive interventions with 28 tackles and interceptions with 18, compared to any other player.

In a public vote, Caicedo received 31% of the votes, surpassing Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, who came in second with 22%. Other nominees followed in order: Declan Rice with 15%, Benjamin Šeško 14%, Mohammed Kudus with 8%, Jack Grealish with 4%, and Bruno Guimarães and Donyell Malen with 3% each.
