Kylian Mbappe, the star of Real Madrid, appeared in press statements after the 5-0 victory over Kairat Almaty in the second round of the Champions League group stage.

Mbappe, who scored a hat-trick, said: "We cannot forget what happened at the end of this weekend (the loss against Atletico Madrid). We must never forget, but this is another tournament, yet we have to keep thinking about what happened and work on improving every day, so we don't suffer another night like that."

He added: "My job is to help the team; I think only about that. I do my best to help the team win. If I score goals, that's great, and if I help the team in other ways, that's great too. The important thing is for the team to win matches and collect titles."

Regarding his partnership with Hauler: "There is a good relationship. He is a young player with high quality and great talent. We are trying to help him deliver his best for the team. He is playing very well now, and we are very happy to have him in our team."

On his missed chances: "If I get five chances, I want to score from all of them. That's why Real Madrid signed me; I always want more. Today I scored three goals, which is great, but I believe I can score more. I will work hard to be better and try to be more effective in front of goal."

He concluded about Courtois' decisive pass: "I don't know if he intended it, but it was a wonderful pass. His pass was 80% of the goal."
