Sherif Abdel Moneim, the former star of Al Ahly, sees that the red team is closer to victory in the summit match tomorrow.

Al Ahly will face their rival Zamalek tomorrow, Monday, in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Abdel Moneim stated in remarks to the newspaper "Al-Masry Al-Youm": "Al Ahly is theoretically better than Zamalek due to having big stars, especially in the attack, like the duo Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet and the Moroccan Ashraf Bencharki, who have the ability to tip the scales in favor of the red team if they perform well against Zamalek."

He added: "I believe that the motivation to win is greater for Al Ahly in order to maintain their hopes in the competition for the Premier League standings, unlike Zamalek, who might be satisfied with a draw from the match."

He concluded: "Although Al Ahly has an advantage on paper, Zamalek can exploit Al Ahly's defensive struggles and achieve victory."
