Mortada Mansour, the former president of Zamalek Club, sent a message to the white players before the derby match against Al-Ahly.
Tomorrow, Monday, Zamalek will meet their traditional rival Al-Ahly in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Mortada Mansour said on his Facebook page: "My prayers are with the Zamalek team players for success, God willing.. Make millions of your fans happy and win, and victory is your ally."
The derby match will kick off at 8:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
