Hazem Imam: Emad Nasr is Afraid of Facing Zamalek
Hazem Imam, the former star of Zamalek, talked about Al Ahly's weaknesses before the summit match tomorrow.
Al Ahly will face Zamalek tomorrow, Monday, in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Hazem Imam said via On Sport FM radio: "This is Emad Nasr's first summit match as a coach for Al Ahly, and the fans of the Red Giant are very convinced of their coach."
He added: "Al Ahly has won the last two matches, but the performance hasn't been good. However, performance isn't everything; those who win ultimately claim the title."
He continued: "Al Ahly's problem and flaw is that they concede goals in every match. When you used to play against Al Ahly in the past, you suffered from strong pressure and fatigue, but now things are easier."
He clarified: "The fans and the results are putting pressure on Emad Nasr, which is why he makes many changes on the field, and the new signings have affected the team's stability, which is something new for Al Ahly."
Hazem Imam concluded: "Emad Nasr is afraid because he hasn't faced big teams like Zamalek and Pyramids, and I think he will approach the Zamalek match like the Enppi match, due to issues in the defense line."
