Mido: The Decision to Dismiss Laurent Blanc is Wrong
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek, believes that the decision of the management of Al-Ittihad Club to dismiss Laurent Blanc, the coach of the team, is wrong.
Al-Ittihad announced today, Sunday, the dismissal of Blanc after losing to Al-Nassr in the Roshan Saudi League.
Mido said on the platform 'X': 'The decision to dismiss Blanc is wrong; I hope that Al-Ittihad and its fans do not pay the price!!'
He added: 'It is true that Blanc made mistakes, but he had a great season last year. How can Al-Ittihad decide to dismiss the coach after losing just one big match!! Unfortunately, it is a hasty decision from the management of the club.'
