Thursday 25-09-2025
Liverpool FC announced on its official website the signing of its young player Rio Ngomouha to his first professional contract with the club, a move that reflects great confidence in his promising talent.

Ngomouha, who joined Liverpool's academy in September 2024 from Chelsea, has already participated in five matches with the first team, the latest being the 2-1 victory over Southampton in the Carabao Cup. He also caught attention last month by scoring a dramatic goal in the 100th minute against Newcastle United during his debut in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old England international also made his UEFA Champions League debut with Liverpool when he came on as a substitute in the victory against Atletico Madrid at Anfield. During the 2024/2025 season, he represented the club's teams at under-18, under-19, and under-21 levels before getting his first chance with the first team last January in the FA Cup against Accrington Stanley.

With this contract, Liverpool reaffirms its commitment to nurturing young talents and providing them with opportunities to develop and compete at the highest levels.
