Nasser Al-Khalifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed that the victory of French star Ousmane Dembélé, who was crowned with the Ballon d'Or on Monday night in Paris, reflects the strength of teamwork within the team.

Al-Khalifi stated in remarks to L'Équipe after the ceremony: "This is a historic day for us, it is certainly wonderful. The truth is that the credit goes to the group, it is not a personal victory but a success for the entire team. This is what we expect from any big club: to progress together."

The president of the Parisian club added: "We will continue on this path. Individual titles are important, but they mean nothing compared to the value of teamwork. We work for the team and for the club's emblem, and that is what matters most."
