Leonardo Leads the Expected Formation of Al-Hilal Against Al-Adalah in the King's Cup
Monday 22-09-2025
The Al-Hilal team has prepared to face Al-Adalah in the Round of 32 of the King's Cup, where Brazilian Marcos Leonardo is set to lead the attacking line for the Blues in the anticipated match on Monday evening.

Leonardo returns to local participation after being re-registered in place of Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo, who is sidelined due to a severe hamstring injury that will require a treatment and rehabilitation program for several weeks.

Al-Hilal is expected to rely on Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou between the posts, while the defense will be led by a four-man line consisting of Theo Hernandez, Hassan Tambakti, Ali Lajami, and Hamad Al-Yami.

The midfield will consist of Mohammed Kanno alongside Nasser Al-Dosari and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, aiming to control the midfield area and provide attacking support for the front three.

The forward line will include Salem Al-Dosari, Caio Cesar, and Marcos Leonardo, who is relied upon by the coaching staff to lead the attack and compensate for the absence of Brazilian Malcolm, who is affected by a muscle injury.

It is also expected that Portuguese Ruben Neves and Uruguayan Darwin Nunez will be rested in this match, as part of the rotation policy followed by the coach to ensure the readiness of the players for upcoming competitions.

The match will take place at Prince Abdullah bin Jlou'i Stadium in Al-Ahsa, at 9:30 PM Saudi and Egyptian time, amidst fan anticipation to follow the start of Al-Hilal's journey in the most prestigious tournament.
