Igor Tudor Before Facing Verona: We Must Be Fully Focused
Igor Tudor, Juventus coach, discussed his team's preparations for the fourth round of the Italian league match against Hellas Verona, emphasizing the importance of mental focus and complete readiness to win.
Regarding the upcoming match, Tudor said: "The last two matches are behind us, and our focus is now solely on the Verona match. It is true that we have played two tough matches against Inter and Borussia Dortmund, and this is the first time we will play three matches in eight days, but all our focus is on the upcoming encounter. We cannot make excuses, and we will not do so. Winning will be linked to our mental clarity; if we are not fully focused, we will find it difficult there."
On the players and their roles, he added: "Everyone is available, and every player is essential to me. Even those who come on as substitutes can play a crucial role, especially with five substitutions available, as matches are often decided in the final minutes."
Regarding the assessment of key players, he confirmed: "Francisco Conceição and Edon Zhegrova will not play the entire match, but they can be very useful for the team."
On Lloyd Kelly, he said: "Since his arrival, he has made few mistakes. He is a humble and serious player and is always looking to learn excellently."
He continued: "Michele Di Gregorio is our starting goalkeeper and will remain so throughout the season, and Dušan Vlahović has become more focused, which is key to his performance and showing his full potential. Kaba is improving and can play in several roles; he is an important player for me."
On returning to Verona, he said: "Returning to Verona will be special; it was a great experience for me as a coach, and it was a positive season. I would like to thank former president Maurizio Setti for his kind words towards me."
