Media figure Ahmed Hassan, a former star of Egyptian football, revealed that there is a crisis within the Sudanese Al-Zamalek club, one of the teams that may face Zamalek in the preliminary round of the African Confederation Cup.

The winner of the match between Sudanese Al-Zamalek and Somali Dikidaha will face Zamalek in the second preliminary round qualifying for the group stage of the tournament.

Ahmed Hassan stated on his program 'Captain' on 'dmc' channel: 'There is a financial crisis within the Sudanese Al-Zamalek club that may hinder its participation in the Confederation Cup.'

He continued: 'The current financial crisis may prevent Al-Zamalek from traveling to Kenya to face Somali Dikidaha in the preliminary round.'

He added: 'If the financial crisis is not resolved, Al-Zamalek may withdraw from participating in the Confederation Cup, allowing Zamalek to face Somali Dikidaha in the second preliminary round qualifying for the group stage.'

He concluded: 'I hope the crisis is resolved so that Al-Zamalek can participate in the tournament directly and achieve its dream that it has been striving for since qualifying for this stage of the tournament.'
