The Portuguese João Cancelo, right-back of Al Hilal, appeared to discuss the story of his arrival in the Saudi League in 2024 and his opinion on the competition.

Cancelo said in his talk: "I received a call from Jorge Jesus, the former coach of Al Hilal, and in our first conversation, I told him that I agreed without hesitation, and I said to him that I accepted the challenge."

He continued: "Al Hilal is the biggest club in Asia, and the decision was not easy; I talked with my family and made my final decision to agree after consulting with them, as my family is important to decide with me."

He added: "Some in Europe watch the Saudi League and think that you came here for the money."

He completed: "That is not the case; it is a highly competitive league, and we represent Al Hilal, and we have a world-class team in the Saudi League."

He also selected the ideal lineup of world players which included: "Neuer, Marcelo, Pepe, Maldini, Cancelo, Zinedine Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo."
