Discover the Reason for Amrabat's Absence from Real Betis Training
Wednesday 10-09-2025
Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat has delayed joining the training of his new team, Real Betis, following his participation with the national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where he played two matches against Niger (5-0) and Zambia (2-0).

According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Amrabat is scheduled to begin his first training sessions under coach Manuel Pellegrini next Friday, ahead of the team's trip to Valencia to face Levante in the fourth round of La Liga.

The 29-year-old Moroccan midfielder is expected to arrive in Seville on Thursday, after completing some personal arrangements related to his transfer.

Real Betis had signed Amrabat on the last day of the summer transfer window from Turkish club Fenerbahçe, on loan for one season, in a deal that strengthens the team's options in midfield.
