Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour, a former Zamalek star, revealed the truth about the global star Mohamed Salah's support for Zamalek.
Al-Ghandour stated on Facebook: "Mohamed Salah is a world legend; his father said he leans towards Zamalek, and Al-Aqbaawi, Captain Salah at Al-Mokawloon, said Salah is a Zamalek fan. Finally, Bassam Ali, a former Al-Ahly player and Salah's teammate at Al-Mokawloon, said Salah is a Zamalek fan and really loves Zamalek. In the final of the century, Salah came out and said, 'Of course, you know who I want to win.'"
Zamalek is currently preparing to face Al-Masry on Saturday, September 13, in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek is in second place in the league standings with 10 points.
